Tom Raia

Tom Raia holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Before joining Craters & Freighters, he was a Design/Project Engineer for a manufacturer of industrial process equipment. In 2001, Tom opened the New Jersey franchise of Craters & Freighters, expanding to New York City in 2007. After owning and operating these locations for over 22 years, he joined the corporate executive team in May 2024.

Tom brings a wealth of experience in process improvement, operating efficiencies, product design, and quality control to his role. His commitment to innovation and operational excellence has been a driving force behind his success. Tom is passionate about finding new ways to enhance the customer experience and streamline operations.

Beyond his professional life, Tom enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly boating, kayaking, and hiking. He is a lifelong New York Rangers fan, a passion he shares with his family. Tom is married and is the proud father of two sons who are currently in college, continuing his legacy of dedication and achievement.
